Several beaches are designated for boogie boarding, kayaking, and surfing, and the popular 3rd Avenue Surf Camp gives kids (and beginners of all ages) a chance to learn from experienced instructors. Volleyball poles are set up on select beaches for those who prefer friendly competition on the sand.
