Beach Badge 2026
Loveladies is one of the newest developed areas on Long Beach Island, featuring privately owned summer homes rather than hotels or motels. This creates a tight-knit community, where neighbors reconnect year after year in their seaside retreats.
With its grand, contemporary architecture, the oceanfront homes of Loveladies—often described as sand castles by the sea—are truly breathtaking. Each August, visitors may get a glimpse inside during the Seashore Open House Tour, showcasing these magnificent residences.
As the cultural hub of Long Beach Island, Loveladies is home to the Long Beach Island Arts and Science Foundation, now open year-round, offering art exhibits, educational programs, and events for locals and visitors alike.
Loveladies is part of Long Beach Township, which requires beach badges for visitors 12 and older during the summer season. Here are the current prices:
