No Refunds

Our beaches are outdoor facilities and weather-dependent.  If the beach is forced to close due to weather, there are no refunds issued.  Ortley Beach has a lightning-detection system and follows multiple weather forecasts as part of the decision making process for weather-related closings.  Safety is our primary concern and will err on the side of caution and close if deemed necessary.
Depending upon the severity of the weather and the time of day, the beach may remain closed for the remainder of the day or attempt to reopen.  When shutting down for weather, all patrons must leave the water and beach.

Neither refunds nor replacements are provided for lost or damaged badges or passes, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to maintain the badge or pass in good order.  Lost or damaged Senior Access ID Cards may be replaced at a cost of $10 per card.
